Pacific Spirit

Growing up, my walk to school took me through Pacific Spirit park in Vancouver. For decades, the forest has been a space of reflection and discovery— from childhood explorations by bicycle to quiet, contemplative walks beneath shifting canopies of light.

Having moved across the country, this series revisits that landscape from a distance, using photographs taken over many years as points of departure. I find myself reflecting on the forest's ephemeral qualities: how filtered sunlight, seasonal color, and the subtle interplay of silence and sound can create fleeting atmospheric moments.
