A study of Frank Ocean's album cover. Beyond the image's striking visual composition, Ocean's music has long provided a contemplative soundtrack to my painting practice— his work carries a reflective quality that resonates with my own creative process.
This piece presented technical challenges I found compelling: capturing the subtle gradations of skin tone and the delicate play of light on water droplets. It became both an exploration of surface and texture, and a tribute to an artist whose work has influenced my own.
